MOTS-c (Mitochondrial Open Reading Frame of the Twelve S rRNA type-c) is a 16-amino-acid peptide encoded by mitochondrial DNA. It is one of a small number of known mitochondrial-derived peptides (MDPs) and has attracted significant research interest for its role in regulating metabolic homeostasis and AMPK pathway activation.
Each vial contains lyophilized MOTS-c powder. Reconstitute with bacteriostatic water before use in research applications.
