Selank is a synthetic heptapeptide derived from the immunomodulatory peptide tuftsin with a Pro-Gly-Pro C-terminal extension for enhanced stability. Developed at the Institute of Molecular Genetics (Russian Academy of Sciences), it has been studied for anxiolytic, nootropic, and immunomodulatory properties.
