SS-31 (also known as elamipretide or Bendavia) is a cell-permeable tetrapeptide that selectively targets the inner mitochondrial membrane. It binds to cardiolipin, a phospholipid critical to electron transport chain function, and has been studied for its role in reducing reactive oxygen species production and protecting mitochondrial structure.
Each vial contains lyophilized SS-31 powder. Reconstitute with bacteriostatic water before use in research applications.
